Studies in Slavic, Romance and Cultural Studies at Ruhr-University Bochum and RSHU Moscow. PhD awarded in 2025 at the University of Fribourg with a dissertation on the boundary between literary and ethnographic writing by Polish Siberian exiles (funded by a scholarship from the Evangelisches Studienwerk Villigst e.V.). Research interests include Russian and Polish modernism (around 1900), intersections of literature with intellectual history and history of science, as well as postcolonial and ecocriticial approaches with focus on Eastern Europe.
