Hana Kahlig studied Czech language, literature and pedagogy at the Philosophical Faculty of the Masaryk University in Brno.
She wrote her master's thesis about the "Comparison of Exams at Different Faculties".
Before moving to Switzerland, Hana Kahlig taught Czech language at a secondary school in Brno during two years.
Since 2005, she worked as a lecturer for Czech at the University of Fribourg.
